Renovated throughout in 2022, there’s an open fire in the cosy living room perfect for winter evenings, and in the warmer summer months the good sized kitchen/dining room opens out onto an enclosed patio area for al fresco dining. Both bedrooms are beautifully presented and are on the first floor, one boasting a kingsize Vi-Spring bed and the other with two Vi-Spring singles, together with the nautical themed family bathroom.
Just a few minutes’ walk are the village amenities including a coffee shop, butchers and general store. For those that don’t want to cook, The Hare is just over the road and is open seven days a week. The Grade I listed bridge over the River Dee is also just a few minutes’ and is a medieval wonder linking Farndon to the Welsh village of Holt. You can visit Chester with its wealth of attractions including historical buildings, city walls, racecourse, shops, bars, restaurants and of course Chester Zoo.
