Priory Barn Hall's Green

This is Priory Barn. It's in Hall's Green in Kent, down a quiet lane. It's a converted Victorian barn, so it's quite a big space. Detached, with its own garden.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The conversion kept a lot of the original beams, which means the ceilings are a bit uneven in places. Mind your head. The layout is on different levels, so there are a few steps between rooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.

Inside, there's a big wood burner in the living area. There's a separate games room with a full-size pool table. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included.

Outside, there's a patio with a barbecue and a decent sized garden. There's parking on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.

The local shop and the nearest pub are both about two miles away in Ide Hill. Sevenoaks is a short drive for supermarkets and other things.

You're right in the middle of a lot of National Trust places here. Knole is very close, just in Sevenoaks. Chartwell, Churchill's house, isn't far. Hever Castle and Penshurst Place are both within a 20-minute drive. For a Roman site, Lullingstone Roman Villa is about 15 minutes away.

If you want a day at the coast, it's about an hour's drive. Brands Hatch circuit is nearby if that's of interest. Trains to London go from Sevenoaks.
