Honeysuckle Cottage is over in Oasby, on the Lincolnshire side of Stamford. It's a barn conversion, but it's part of our working farm. You're welcome to walk around the farm tracks, we've kept a lot of it good for wildlife.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order and it's well-equipped.
You've got your own enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking right outside. The ground floor is all on one level, which is good for accessibility. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
We're a working farm, so you'll see tractors and animals about. The British Eventing horse trials are held on the farm twice a year. If you're coming with a horse, we can sort out grazing, just ask.
The village is quiet. There are a couple of pubs you can drive to for a meal. The nearest shop for basics is about three miles away in Culverthorpe.
For walking or cycling, you can start right from the cottage on the farm tracks. The area around here is good for that. If you want a big day out, Rutland Water is about half an hour away. You can hire bikes there, or do watersports. Woodhall Spa and its golf courses are about twenty minutes away.
Stamford is a nice old town, about a fifteen minute drive. Lincoln is roughly forty minutes if you want the cathedral and castle. For WWII history, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is at RAF Coningsby, which is under half an hour away.
