Red Kite Cottage

Stamford is about three miles away. It’s a proper old town, all stone buildings. They film things there sometimes. There are good shops and places to eat.
The cottage has a wood burning stove. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a stairgate and a cot if you need them.
There’s an enclosed garden. It’s a decent size. Two dogs are allowed. A footpath goes past the cottage and out into the fields, so you can walk straight from the door.
Easton has a village shop about a ten minute walk. There are two pubs, the Exeter Arms and the Bluebell. Both do food.
If you’re driving out, Rockingham Castle is about fifteen minutes away. Burghley House is just outside Stamford. Rutland Water is maybe thirty minutes. We’re on the edge of the Rockingham Forest area here, so there’s plenty of woodland.
There’s parking for one car. The shed can be used for bikes.
