The Gallops
The Gallops is in East Ilsley in Berkshire. It's a detached barn conversion on a working farm. It sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and all the bathrooms are en-suite.
It's a 5 Star property, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. The ceilings are very high, with the original beams on show. It has wood burning stoves, underfloor heating, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a south-facing patio garden with a barbecue and furniture.
You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and high chair if you need them.
East Ilsley is a small village on the edge of the Berkshire Downs. There's a local pub you can walk to. For a bigger shop, Newbury is about a fifteen minute drive.
If you're looking for days out, the racecourse in Newbury is close by. For walking, the Ridgeway path runs right past the village. National Trust Berkshire Downs has good information. Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey was filmed, is about twenty minutes away. Windsor is around forty minutes by car.
