Boatland Lodge
Boatland Lodge is a cottage on the side of the River Tay, about a ten minute walk from Perth town centre. It's detached. The garden is big and private, with mature trees, and the path down to the riverbank is at the bottom of it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well kept, but not grand. The layout is mostly open plan downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
The local shop and a couple of pubs are about half a mile away. It's a quiet spot, but you can walk into Perth easily.
Scone Palace is practically on the doorstep. You can walk there in ten minutes through the grounds. It's worth a visit. Their official site for planning is Scone Palace.
If you want a day out, Dundee is about half an hour's drive. That's where the V&A museum is. St Andrews is just over an hour away. For walking, you're on the edge of the Perthshire hills. The North Perthshire site has good information.
Facilities are all there: TV, WiFi, parking right outside, bedding and towels included. No pets, I'm afraid.
