Farragon Cottage
Farragon Cottage is near Strathtummel in Perthshire. It's on our estate, which is a working farm. The view from the front is across Loch Tummel, and it's a good view. You can see the water and the hills beyond.
It's a single-storey cottage, so everything is on one level. It sleeps two people in one bedroom, and there's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a high standard. The facilities are all there: woodburning stove, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside.
You're welcome to bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, which helps. You can walk straight out onto the estate land. There are a couple of private fishing lochs here if you're interested in that. The wider area is good for walking and cycling. Pitlochry is about ten miles away for shops, a couple of distilleries, and the festival theatre.
If you want to explore further, you're right in the middle of things. You can drive up towards Blair Atholl or across to Aberfeldy quite easily. For local information, the Perthshire website is useful, and the National Trust for Scotland page on Loch Tummel has some good walking ideas.
