Old Mill Cottage
Old Mill Cottage is in Blair Atholl. It’s a detached stone cottage, so you’ve got your own space. There’s a good sized garden with decking. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well kept. There’s a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You’ve got the river just over the wall at the bottom of the garden. It’s the River Tilt. The village itself is small. There’s a shop and a pub. The Atholl Watermill bakery is a couple of minutes walk away. Their bread is very good.
Blair Castle is literally just along the road. You can walk to it. It’s a big estate with gardens and walks. There’s a nine-hole golf course in the village too.
If you like walking, you’re right on the edge of everything. Glen Tilt starts here. You can walk for miles straight from the door. There’s also riding and fishing locally.
The A9 is close, so it’s easy to get around. Pitlochry is about ten minutes south. Dunkeld is maybe twenty minutes. The House of Bruar is five minutes up the road if you need something. The train station is in the village, which is handy.
Facilities: Parking for one car at the cottage. WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
