Tummel Cottage is up on our hill in Strathtummel. It's one of a semi-detached pair, the other one being Farragon Cottage. You get your own enclosed garden bit. The main view is over Loch Tummel. It's very quiet.
It's a single-storey place, so everything's on the ground floor. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star grading, which means it's well-kept and comfortable. You're welcome to bring one dog.
You're on a working farm here, so there are sheep and cattle. We've got our own stretch of loch shore for fishing, about a mile of it, and two smaller private lochs on the estate if you want to try your luck there. The wildlife is just what you'd expect, red deer, birds of prey, that sort of thing.
Pitlochry is about ten miles away for shops, pubs, and a couple of distilleries. They have a theatre there too. Queen's View, which is the famous lookout point over the loch, is just a couple of minutes drive up the road. If you want to walk, you're right at the edge of the Tay Forest Park and not far from the Cairngorms.
For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can use the BBQ.
