Red Lion Cottage Chatteris

Red Lion Cottage is a terraced house on the east side of Chatteris. It's on a residential street with other houses, but the garden is fully enclosed so it's private.

The house sleeps four, across two bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is more than you'd expect. One is downstairs and is a bit small, but it's handy. The rating is 4 Star. It's a modern and comfortable place.

There’s a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the roadside right out front, which is usually fine. There's a good-sized garden with a patio and a BBQ.

Chatteris is a small Fenland town. It's flat here, so good for cycling. There’s a decent local pub within walking distance, and fishing is popular on the local drains. It's a quiet area.

Ely is about a 25-minute drive. You can see the cathedral from miles away. It’s worth a visit. Cambridge is about 45 minutes if you want a day out in the city. The coast at Hunstanton is just over an hour.
