Fairwind Peacehaven

Fairwind is a bungalow on the cliffs in Peacehaven. It's detached. The main thing is the view, straight out to sea. You can see it from the garden and the living room.

It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything's on one floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. One dog is welcome.

The garden has a swimming pool. It's covered, so you can use it even if the weather's a bit iffy.

The beach is about 150 yards away. You get to it down a ramp. The clifftop walking is good here, very straightforward. There's a marker for the Greenwich Meridian line on the cliff top nearby, which is a bit of local history.

There's a pub and a restaurant about five minutes walk away. The shop is a bit further, maybe a 15 minute walk.

Brighton is about six miles west. That's where you go for a proper day out, for the shops and the Pavilion and the pier. The Palace Pier is the one with the rides. Newhaven is the other way, where you can get a ferry to France if you want.

For walking, the South Downs are right there. The South Downs National Park website has good maps. The Seven Sisters cliffs are a short drive along the coast.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included.
