Jasmine Cottage is over in Beddingham. It's part of a pair built next to our own house. The view from the back looks straight at Mount Caburn, that big hill with the old fort on top.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's wheelchair access to the ground floor. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two, by the way.
The local pub is about a mile walk. For a shop, you'll need to drive to Lewes, which is two and a half miles. Lewes is good for a wander, has a castle and some interesting little streets. The drive to the coast at Seaford or Newhaven takes about ten minutes. Brighton is about half an hour by car.
You're right in the South Downs here. Good walking straight from the door. Glyndebourne is only a couple of miles away if you're here for the opera. For days out, Drusillas Zoo is close, or you can visit Charleston, the old Bloomsbury house.
In the cottage, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
