Rockworks Chalets No.5 is over on St Mary's in Orkney. It's one of the single-storey ones right next to Scapa Flow. You can see the water from the main room.
It's for two people. One twin bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's tidy and well-equipped. Everything is on the same level, no stairs.
The main room is open plan. It's light. You've got the kitchen at one end, a seating area in the middle, and a little table by the window. The view is the main thing. There's a smart TV, WiFi, and heating's included.
The kitchen's modern. Kettle, toaster, oven, hob, fridge with a small freezer compartment. There's a washing machine too. You get bedding and towels.
Outside, you have your own bit of patio with a table and chairs. There's parking right outside.
It's quiet out here. There's a cafe next door in a gallery. A small shop is about a ten-minute walk away. For a proper supermarket or more places to eat, Kirkwall or Stromness is where you'd go. Both are about a fifteen-minute drive.
You're right on the coast path for walks. The Churchill Barriers are just there. The Italian Chapel is very close, you can see it across the water. For the bigger sights like the Ring of Brodgar or Skara Brae, you're looking at a twenty to thirty minute drive. If you want to go walking at Yesnaby or see the Old Man of Hoy, you'll need to drive to Houton and get the ferry.
Useful links if you're planning: Historic Environment Scotland for the Neolithic sites, and Visit Orkney for general information.
No pets, sorry. The chalet is available on its own, but if you've got a bigger group, you can book it with some of the others next door.
