Chapelburn

This is Chapelburn, up in Lawers on the north side of Loch Tay. It's a detached cottage, so you're on your own up here. The view is the main thing. It looks straight down the loch to the hills.

It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got the 5 Star rating, so it's well finished. The living space is big and open because of a modern extension on the back. There's a wood burner in the middle of it.

Outside, there's a large balcony with a hot tub and a BBQ. The glass railings mean you keep the view. Down in the garden by the burn there's a sauna and a natural pool under a small waterfall.

You can walk straight from the door into the hills. The village of Kenmore is a short drive for a pub or the Scottish Crannog Centre. Killin and Aberfeldy are both about 20 minutes by car in opposite directions. Killin has the Falls of Dochart. Aberfeldy has a bookshop, cafes, and the Dewar's whisky distillery.

If you want to get on the water, you can swim, fish, or paddleboard on Loch Tay itself. For walking, you're close to Glen Lyon and several Munros. The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park starts just west of here.

What's here: there's parking for several cars, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to three dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
