The Courtyard Suite is in Lunanhead, Angus. It's on a working deer farm. The house itself is a big, listed building and you get a wing of it. There are highland ponies and deer in the fields. You can walk around the farm tracks.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean without being over the top. The main room is open plan, kitchen and living area together. It's a good space if the weather turns.
You share the main gardens and a sunken courtyard with the owners and the other holiday let here. They're nice to wander around. There's a patio area for you as well.
The local shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in the village. For a bigger shop, Forfar is ten minutes by car. Dundee is about twenty minutes. The V&A museum there is worth a trip. Lunan Bay beach is the best one nearby, about a twenty minute drive.
If you like castles, Glamis is eight miles away. You can tour the house and the gardens are good. For walking, Glen Clova is in the Angus Glens, or the Cateran Trail is nearby. There's a nature reserve at Murton Farm, just two miles from here.
Facilities: there's parking, a dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's storage for bikes if you bring them.
