Meadowgreen Farmhouse
Meadowgreen Farmhouse is near Caldhame in Angus. It's detached, so there are no neighbours on either side. You're pretty much on your own out here, just fields all around.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's been done up inside and it's comfortable. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped.
The road to get here is a proper single-track farm road for the last bit. You'll know you're in the countryside. There's plenty of parking right outside.
Inside, it's open plan on the ground floor with a woodburning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's WiFi and a TV. We've also got a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you're bringing little ones. No pets, sorry.
Outside, there's a garden and a patio with furniture. There's also a bike store if you bring bicycles.
You're four miles from Forfar. That's where the nearest shop, pub, and places to eat are. Forfar Loch is there too, good for a walk or some fishing.
If you want to explore, you're in a good spot for it. Glamis Castle is about a twenty-minute drive. The Angus coast with its beaches, like Lunan Bay, is about half an hour to the east. The Angus Glens for walking are about half an hour to the west. St Andrews and Carnoustie are under an hour's drive if you're a golfer.
