This is Faodail, in Plockton. It's our place. It's a detached house, right on the front looking out over the loch.
It sleeps eight across four bedrooms, and there are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's spread over three floors, so there are a fair few stairs, but that gives everyone a bit of space.
You're set high enough to get a good view of the water from the main living room and master bedroom. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
The village shop and a couple of pubs are about a minute's walk away. The village itself is the main attraction, really. You can walk everywhere. People go out on boat trips from the harbour to see the seals.
For getting out, you're in a good spot. The Walkhighlands page for Plockton has local routes. The Torridon mountains are about a half hour drive north. The bridge over to the Isle of Skye is about 25 minutes south. If you head that way, the National Trust for Scotland's Glencoe page is useful for planning a bigger day out.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for a couple of cars. Bedding is included. We can take up to two dogs.
