It's Cliff Cottage in Kyle of Lochalsh. Detached, so you're on your own. The village is right there if you need anything.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean without being posh. It's been looked after.
You can bring one dog. There's a garden, and parking next to the cottage.
The place is handy. You're in the village, but it's quiet. The shop and the pub are about ten minutes' walk. The pub does food.
The main thing is the location. You're five minutes in the car from the bridge to Skye. That's it, over the water. You can see it from places in the village.
For a drive, the road to Applecross is something else. It's single track with big drops. The view from the top is worth it. Plockton is lovely, about twenty minutes away. You can sit by the water there.
If you like walking, you're in the right spot. The National Trust for Scotland's Kintail area is nearby. There's a good visitor centre at Balmacara. For castles, Eilean Donan is about fifteen minutes drive. It's right on the loch.
Inside, there's a wood burner for cooler nights. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
