Waterside Cottage is in Kyleakin, on Skye. It looks right out over the water to the mainland. You can see the bridge from the garden. It's a five minute walk to the middle of the village.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not a show home. The bathroom is downstairs.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids. There's parking right there.
Kyleakin itself has a few shops and a couple of pubs that do food. For a bigger shop, the Co-op in Broadford is about a 15 minute drive away.
You're in a good spot for getting around. The bridge makes it easy to pop over to the mainland if you want. Eilean Donan Castle is about half an hour's drive. If you're going up into the mountains, Glen Shiel is maybe 40 minutes.
On Skye, you've got the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr for walking. Portree is around 40 minutes. The Cuillin are closer, maybe 20 minutes to the start of Glen Brittle. The roads are single track in places, so journey times can vary.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. No pets.
