Dol y Clochydd is a farmhouse in Llanelltyd, right by the river Mawddach. It's detached. The views are good, mostly hills and water.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a solid, comfortable sort of place.
You've got your own bit of riverbank for fishing. The garden is decent sized and enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs or kids. Inside, there's a big living room with a wood burner at each end, which is unusual. It means two groups can sit separately if they want. There are two TVs with Netflix and so on. The dining room has big windows looking out.
The Precipice Walk starts nearby. The views from up there are worth it. You're also close to the Coed y Brenin Forest Centre for mountain biking or walking.
Dolgellau is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's got shops and cafes. The Mawddach Trail runs from there to Barmouth along the old railway. It's flat and good for cycling. Barmouth has a big beach. It's about a twenty minute drive.
You're well placed for the little steam trains. The Ffestiniog Railway at Porthmadog, the Talyllyn at Tywyn, and the Bala Lake Railway are all within half an hour. For something louder, Zip World Titan and Bounce Below are over in Blaenau Ffestiniog, about a twenty-five minute drive.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs. Parking for a few cars.
