The twin bedroom with wet room is accessed through the king sized bedroom, while the third bedroom is on the other side of the cottage accessed through the kitchen.
There are delightful dog walks from the doorstep around Edmonston lake and many hillwalking and cycling choices near Biggar. Drive west for 30 minutes and you will arrive at the World Heritage site at New Lanark, an 18th-century mill village set by the roaring Falls of Clyde, while 30 minutes’ to the east is the picturesque town of Peebles set on the lovely River Tweed. Try out the mountain bike trails and Go Ape at Glentress, just 6 miles further on, in the vicinity too are historic Traquair House and Dawyck Gardens. Biggar has a range of pubs, restaurants and coffee shops and great local food suppliers. Horse grazing is available by direct arrangement with the owners. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
