End Cottage is at the end of the lane in Tibthorpe. It's quiet, no traffic goes past. You look out over the fields of the Yorkshire Wolds from the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy. You can have the beds made up as a king-size or twins, just let me know. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.
The layout is a bit different. There's a step down when you come in the front door. The main living room has a wood burner and a lot of light from the roof windows. It leads through to the conservatory and then the garden.
Upstairs, the main bedroom is a good size. The walls aren't all straight, it's an old cottage. There's also a small mezzanine area up there with a chair if you want a quiet spot to read.
The garden is enclosed. There's a summerhouse and a patio. We get a lot of birds on the feeders. You might see a woodpecker. The neighbour's chicken sometimes comes over.
There's parking at the cottage. You can store bikes or motorbikes in the garage. It's a good area for riding. The Visit Yorkshire site has cycling routes.
For a day out, Bridlington is about 17 miles east. The coast there is good. Bempton Cliffs, which is an RSPB reserve, is a bit further up. York, Beverley, and Hull are all within a 30 minute drive.
There's a shop and a pub in the next village, about a mile and a half away. The cottage has wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot.
