End Cottage
End Cottage is in Tibthorpe, right at the end of the lane. It's detached from our house next door. You've got your own garden with a view over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both can be set up as a kingsize or as twins. Each has its own bathroom, one with a bath, one with a shower. The stairs are normal. The upstairs bedroom is a good size, but the walls aren't perfectly square, so it feels a bit different.
Downstairs, there's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting room has a wood burner. There's a conservatory between the living room and the garden, which is nice when it's sunny. The garden is enclosed. There's a summerhouse and a patio with a BBQ.
You get a lot of wildlife in the garden. Birds, hedgehogs, the odd pheasant. The chicken from the farm next door sometimes visits. Please try not to disturb them, especially at dusk.
The village is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in Lund. For a bigger shop, Driffield is about four miles.
It's good for walking and cycling straight from the door. For the coast, Bridlington is about 17 miles away. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs seabird colony is a bit further on from there. York, Beverley, and Hull are all within a 40 minute drive.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking, bike storage in the garage. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. No pets.
