Acrewood
Acrewood is in Wetwang. It's a big converted barn and cottage joined together. It's a five star place, so everything is finished to a high spec.
It sleeps ten, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two bedrooms upstairs are en suite, one has a jacuzzi bath. There's underfloor heating throughout, so it's always warm underfoot.
The kitchen is very large and open to the roof, so you can see all the old beams. It's got a big range cooker, an American fridge freezer, and a utility room next door. It's set up for a crowd.
There are two sitting rooms. The main one is spacious with a big stone fireplace and a wood burner. It has a large TV. The second one has a smaller TV and an Xbox, so people can split up if they want.
The grounds are large and fully enclosed, with lawned gardens and a paved patio. There's outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The property has electric gates, with parking for about six cars.
The village shop is four miles away, so you'll need to drive for supplies. There's a local pub within walking distance.
For days out, you're right near the Wolds. The Yorkshire website has good ideas. The historic city of York is under an hour's drive, and the coast at Bridlington is about 45 minutes.
In terms of what's here: all the bedding is provided. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, a cot and highchair. No pets allowed.
