Acrewood Wetwang

Acrewood is out on the edge of Wetwang, past the village. It's a converted barn, joined up with an old cottage. We did it up a few years ago. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's got the works. Underfloor heating everywhere. Very warm in winter.

It sleeps ten, five bedrooms. Four bathrooms, two of those are en-suite. The main bathrooms are downstairs. The two master rooms upstairs have their own. One of them has a big jacuzzi bath.

The kitchen is massive. It's got one of those big range cookers with two ovens and a separate warming oven. The fridge-freezer is in the utility room next door. The ceiling goes right up into the roof, old wooden trusses everywhere.

There are two living rooms. The main one has a big stone fireplace with a wood burner. TV on the wall. The other one is smaller, has another TV and an Xbox. Good for kids to have their own space.

The garden is all yours, fully enclosed. There's a lawn and a paved patio with a table and a barbecue. Electric gates at the front. You can park about six cars on the drive.

Wetwang has a pub. The shop is about four miles away in Driffield. For a bigger supermarket, you'd go to Beverley or Driffield.

It's a good spot for getting out. You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. Good for walking straight from the door. The coast at Bridlington is about half an hour by car. York is under an hour. Beverley's closer, maybe twenty-five minutes. Really nice town, the Minster and the Saturday market.

Everything's provided: bed linen, towels, Wi-fi. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
