7 Greep

It's called 7 Greep. It's in Roag, on the Isle of Skye. It's a detached old croft house right by the water. You get a good view of Loch Varkasaig and the Cuillin hills from there.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well inside. It feels solid and comfortable.

You need to know the road in is single track and a bit rough. It's fine for normal cars, you just take it slow. You can park right there.

The house has a wood burning stove, which is nice in the evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.

The nearest shop and pub are about five miles away in Dunvegan. It's a proper village with a castle. The famous Coral Beach is out that way too.

Portree is a good half hour drive. It's the main town, has a colourful harbour, shops, and the Aros Centre. Boat trips for wildlife spotting usually go from there or nearby.

If you're here for walking or climbing, you're right in the middle of it. You can access the coast nearby. For planning, the National Trust for Scotland and Northwest Highlands Geopark sites are useful.

No pets, sorry.
