Caroy Bay Cottage is on Skye, near Dunvegan. It's a detached place, so you're on your own. It looks out over Caroy Bay, which is a sea loch. You're right by the water.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything is on one level, which is good if steps are a problem. There's a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings.
The garden is mostly a gravel area with some furniture. It's functional, not a big lawn. You can park right there.
The location is the main thing. You can walk down to the shore. You can fish from there if you want. For a proper swim, Coral Beach is about a ten minute drive away. It's very nice.
Dunvegan village is five minutes in the car. There's a shop, a couple of places to eat, and Dunvegan Castle. The lighthouse at Neist Point is about twenty minutes away. Heading south, you can get to the Talisker distillery or the Fairy Pools in roughly half an hour.
Facilities wise: it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
