Tor Hatch Cottage Shere

Tor Hatch Cottage is in Shere, up on a private drive off a quiet lane. It's a standalone place next to our main house. You get the whole cottage to yourselves.

It sleeps four. Two double bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's a bit more comfortable. Everything's clean and works. There's a wood burner in the living room, and a TV and wifi. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.

You can use our big garden. The view from the cottage looks out over a valley. There are footpaths straight from the garden into the fields.

It's a good area for walking and cycling. The RideLondon route goes past nearby. We sometimes have fresh eggs from our chickens, but that depends on them laying.

Shere village is about a mile away, you can walk it across the fields. There are a couple of pubs and a shop there. Guildford is about a 15 minute drive for bigger shops.

It's about half an hour to the edge of London, places like Epsom. For days out, the Surrey Hills area is right here. Polesden Lacey is about 20 minutes away.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a highchair and a travel cot if you need them.
