This is the Old Dairy. It's a single-storey place, a converted dairy on the edge of Ludgershall in Wiltshire. It's detached, so you get your own space. There's a field right next door where the owner keeps sheep, sometimes horses.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
Outside, there's a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. You can park two cars on the drive. Inside, it's got the basics: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and a woodburning stove for cooler nights. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. No pets, sorry.
The local village shop is about a quarter of a mile away. There's a pub that does food a mile down the road.
For getting out, you can walk straight from the door into the countryside. Savernake Forest is a short drive, it's good for a proper walk. Andover is the nearest proper town, about four miles, for supermarkets and that. Winchester is about half an hour's drive, Salisbury is a bit further. Stonehenge is maybe 25 minutes away.
If you're planning trips, these sites are useful: English Heritage for places like Stonehenge, and The National Trust has a few properties nearby like Stourhead.
