The Old Bull Pen
The Old Bull Pen is near Ludgershall in Wiltshire. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so all on one level, which is handy. It's detached and you've got your own garden that looks out over the owner's field. There are usually sheep in it.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was converted a few years ago so everything's in good order.
There's a shop about a quarter of a mile away and a pub serving food a mile down the road. You can park two cars on the property.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair.
For things to do, you're well placed. Stonehenge is about a 20 minute drive. Salisbury with the cathedral is roughly half an hour away. Winchester is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Highclere Castle, where they film Downton Abbey, is about a 25 minute drive. The Hawk Conservancy Trust is nearby and good for a day out.
If you want to walk, Savernake Forest is close by. The National Trust website has good information for the area. The Visit Wiltshire site is useful too.
No pets, I'm afraid. And it's a non-smoking property.
