The Annexe At Woodside Kimpton

The Annexe is in Kimpton, just outside Andover. It's a separate building, but on our grounds. We live in the main house.

It's four star, mostly because that's what you get for the size and what's provided. It's perfect for two people. There's one bedroom on the ground floor with a kingsize bed. The shower room is down there too. Upstairs is the living area and a small kitchen. The stairs are a typical cottage spiral staircase, so watch your head.

There's a sofa bed upstairs which is fine for a child. We can put a travel cot in the bedroom if you need one.

You don't have your own private garden, but you're welcome to sit out on the lawn in front of the annexe. We have three dogs. They're friendly and might come over to say hello if they're out.

Kimpton's a small village. There's a pub that does food about a ten minute walk away. For a shop, you'll need to drive to Andover, which is about ten minutes.

The A303 is close, so it's easy to get to places. Stonehenge is about 20 minutes away. Winchester and Salisbury are both roughly half an hour. The Hawk Conservancy Trust is very close, just a few minutes down the road. So is Thruxton Race Circuit if that's your thing.

For a day out, there's Highclere Castle (the one from Downton Abbey) about 40 minutes north. Or you can go south to the New Forest, maybe Beaulieu, in a similar time. The coast at Bournemouth is just over an hour.

What's here: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, on-site parking. There's space to store bicycles. All the bedding and towels are included.
