Blossom's Lodge Laneham

Blossom's Lodge is a shepherd's hut on our working farm in Laneham. It sleeps two, one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It's in a quiet corner of a field. You get a patio area with a table and chairs to sit outside. The view is over the field where we keep the miniature Shetland ponies. They're friendly and will probably come over.

The hut itself is small, as you'd expect. It's all one space inside, with the bed at one end and a small kitchenette. There's a TV and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. The shower is in a separate room.

You're on a farm, so there are farm sounds and sometimes vehicle movements during the day, but it's quiet in the evenings and weekends.

The River Trent is a few minutes' walk away for walks or fishing. There are two pubs in the village, both within walking distance, and they do food.

Retford is the nearest proper town for shops, about ten minutes by car. Lincoln is 25 minutes away if you want a day out to see the cathedral and the castle. Newark is about the same distance the other way, good for antiques and its market. Sherwood Forest is within half an hour if you're driving.
