The Stables
The Stables is in Laneham, right out in the Nottinghamshire countryside. It used to be the stables for the main house. It's detached now and quiet.
It's got two bedrooms and sleeps three. One bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well done up. There's an enclosed garden out the back and a little patio area.
There's a good pub about a minute's walk away. They do food. The shop is a couple of miles off in the next village, so you'll probably want to drive for a proper shop.
You're right near the River Trent for walks. If you're into fishing, there's a local spot about a mile away. There's golf nearby as well.
Lincoln is about a twenty minute drive. The cathedral and the castle up on the hill are worth seeing. Newark is about the same distance the other way, good for the antiques fairs at the showground.
For facilities, it's got the washing machine, dishwasher, TV, parking. Bedding is included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
If the group is bigger, you can book this place together with our other one, The Croft, next door. That sleeps two more.
