The Croft is in Laneham, Nottinghamshire. It's a barn conversion, sleeps two in one bedroom.
The conversion's been done well. There are oak floors, a vaulted ceiling, and exposed beams. It's open plan, and all on the ground floor. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's a wood burner for chilly evenings.
Outside, there's a private patio that looks out over an orchard. It's very peaceful.
There's a pub about a hundred yards away. It serves food. The shop is in the next village, about two miles.
You're a short walk from the River Trent. There are good paths along the bank for walking and cycling. Fishing is available about a mile away.
Lincoln is about a twenty minute drive. You've got the castle, the cathedral, and the Magna Carta Centre there. The Brayford Wharf area is good for watching the boats.
Newark Showground is also about twenty minutes away. They hold big antiques fairs there.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. Electricity is included in the price. No pets, sorry.
We have another property called The Stables next door. You can book both together if you need space for up to five.
