Kirkstead is in Walcott. It's a one bedroom place for two people. It's a studio, so the living area and bedroom are in one open room. It's on the ground floor which is handy.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not luxurious. There's a shower, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. Everything is on one level, and there are grab rails in places.
You can bring one dog. There's a local pub in the village.
It's quiet here. Mainly fields around. Good if you want to walk the dog and not see many people.
Lincoln is about half an hour away. You've got the cathedral and the castle there. The Lincoln Cathedral website has visiting information.
Woodhall Spa is about 20 minutes in the car. There's a nice park there with an outdoor pool in summer. It's also known for golf.
The coast at Skegness is roughly a 45 minute drive. Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe are a bit closer, maybe 35 minutes.
If you're interested in the wider area, the Lincolnshire County Council site has details on nature reserves and walks.
There are a couple of other cottages next door. They can be booked together if you're coming with more people.
