Peacock Barn Martin

Peacock Barn is in Timberland, Lincolnshire. It's a detached house, modern build. The main thing is the view. It looks out over a proper fishing lake and lawns, which is nice and quiet.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is downstairs, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.

Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a patio. You can park right there. Inside, there's a wood burning stove, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. All the bedding is included. You can bring one dog.

The nearest pub is about a mile down the road in Martin village. They do food.

For getting out, it's good cycling country. The Water Railway path is about five miles away. That takes you to Woodhall Spa or towards Lincoln. Woodhall Spa has a few things: an outdoor lido for swimming in summer, a golf course, and the Kinema in the Woods, which is an old-style cinema. It's a bit different.

Lincoln is 15 miles. That's where you go for the cathedral and the castle and the proper shops. Coningsby is close, that's where the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight aircraft are kept. If you fancy the coast, it's about 35 miles to the beaches.
