Hill Crest
Hill Crest is in Metheringham, Lincolnshire. It's a detached property, just outside the main village.
The house sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star Gold rating, so it's comfortable and high-spec. Everything is included: bedding, towels, all your utilities.
The house was purpose-built for holiday lets a few years ago, so it's modern inside. It’s all on one level, which makes it accessible. There are no steps getting to the front door or into the main living area. The doors are wide for wheelchair users. The two bedrooms at the back have patio doors onto the garden.
Outside, you have a private wraparound garden with a patio and a barbecue. It's fenced and secure. There's parking for two cars on the gravel drive.
As for facilities, you've got everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, a woodburning stove. There's a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
You can take up to two dogs. The garden is secure, and there are fields nearby for walks.
Metheringham has a village shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a butchers. It's quiet. For a bigger shop, you're about 20 minutes from Lincoln or Sleaford.
If you want to go out, Lincoln is great for a day. The castle and cathedral are worth seeing. The National Trust has a few properties nearby like Woolsthorpe Manor. The coast is about an hour's drive to Skegness.
