Ardtornish Apartment

This is Ardtornish Apartment in Tayvallich. It's a one-bedroom place for two people. You get good views over Loch Sween.

It's a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The living room opens onto an enclosed balcony. You can sit out there. The bedroom is upstairs and it's fine, it has storage. The shower room is up there too. There's parking on site and we can now do electric vehicle charging.

You can bring one dog. The balcony is enclosed, which helps. There's a private slipway right by the apartment if you want to launch a kayak or a small dinghy. The water is just opposite, so it's easy for paddle boarding or wild swimming if that's your thing.

Tayvallich is a small village. There's a local pub and a seafood cafe. They're both decent. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive to Lochgilphead or Tarbert.

If you want to get out, Knapdale Forest is nearby. That's where the reintroduced beavers are. The Crinan Canal is a short drive away for a flat walk or cycle. You can get ferries from Kennacraig or Port Askaig over to Islay or Jura.

Within about half an hour's drive you can get to Kilmory Chapel to see the old carved stones, or to Crinan itself. Campbeltown, Oban, and Inveraray are all further, about an hour or so by car.

The apartment has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage if you need it.
