Ty Capel Cottage is in Cefn Brith, Denbighshire. It's a detached stone cottage with its own garden. The views from the front are over fields and hills. It's quiet.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, which means it's comfortable and clean. It's not a show home. There's a wood burner in the living room. It works well. The stairs are typical old cottage stairs, so they turn and are a bit steep.
You get bedding and towels included. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Parking is right outside. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed. We can provide a cot and highchair.
The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away in Llandegla. It serves food. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Ruthin, about six miles.
You're right on the edge of the Clwydian Range. The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site has walking maps. The famous Horseshoe Pass is a ten minute drive for great views. Bala Lake is roughly half an hour away. For the coast, like Conwy or Llandudno, it's about 40 minutes.
Betws-y-Coed is 16 miles into Snowdonia. That's where you'll find the Zip World activities and the Swallow Falls. The Snowdonia National Park site is useful for planning. The National White Water Centre is at the nearby Tryweryn river.
