River Meets Lodge

River Meets Lodge is a detached place in Tiddington, on the bank of the River Avon. It's a two bedroom lodge and sleeps four. It has a 4 Star rating and is a modern, comfortable sort of place.

Inside, it's open plan with a high ceiling in the living area. French doors go out to a wraparound deck with seating, right by the river. You can watch the boats go by. The main bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a twin. There's a separate family bathroom with a spa bath that has a TV in it, which is a bit different. Both bedrooms have their own televisions.

The site has a club house with a restaurant and bar, and a children's play area. It's about a mile and a half from Stratford-upon-Avon along the river path, which takes roughly half an hour to walk. In the summer, there's a river taxi you can catch into town.

Stratford is, of course, all about Shakespeare. You've got the birthplace and Anne Hathaway's Cottage. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is there for performances. The town itself is nice to wander around, with the river and the parks.

Further out, Warwick Castle is about a 15-minute drive. The edge of the Cotswolds is within half an hour if you fancy a drive out to some of the villages.

For facilities: it's detached, with parking. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. The garden patio is enclosed. No pets.
