The Writing Room Barford

The Writing Room is in Barford. It’s a bungalow, so everything’s on the ground floor. It's detached, so it's just you. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.

You get your own private garden. It gets the sun. You're also welcome to use our bit of land by the river. We've been managing it for about twenty years for wildlife and to produce some food and wood. There's an old mill site with a hydro generator. We've put a few benches out there where you can sit and watch the river. You see a lot of birds. Kingfishers sometimes. We've seen otters.

The village has two pubs. One does food, the other is an Indian restaurant. There's a community shop which is really good. Warwick is about five minutes' drive. Stratford-upon-Avon is about fifteen minutes.

For facilities, it’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a shower, no bath. You can have one well-behaved pet.
