The Writing Room is a bungalow just outside Barford, in Warwickshire. It's detached and sleeps two. There's one bedroom and a wet room with a shower. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious.
The layout is all open-plan. You walk into one big room with the kitchen, a sitting area with a TV, and a dining space. Doors lead out to your own private patio and garden. It gets the sun.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside the door, and the bungalow is all on one level.
The place has its own garden, but you're also welcome to use the owner's land next to it. It's about an acre by the River Avon. They've been working on it for wildlife for twenty years. There are spots to sit and look at the river. You might see kingfishers.
Barford has a shop and a pub. It's a few minutes' walk. Stratford-upon-Avon is about ten minutes away by car. That's where you find the Shakespeare stuff, the RSC theatre, and boat trips on the river.
For wider trips, Warwick Castle is about fifteen minutes' drive. Leamington Spa is twenty minutes. The Cotswolds area, like Chipping Campden or Broadway, is roughly half an hour away.
Included in the cottage: WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, bedding and towels.
