Saltaire Mill Cottage

Saltaire Mill Cottage is the last house on the row. It's an old mill cottage in Shipley, West Yorkshire. You're right in the middle of Saltaire village.

It's a 4 Star place, which feels right. Clean and comfortable, but still a proper old cottage. It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms: one king size, one double, and a single. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The living room's a good size. There's a Smart TV. The kitchen's been done up recently and has everything you'd expect, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Outside the back is a small yard with a table and chairs.

You can bring one dog. There's a cot and bedding is included, so you don't have to bring your own.

The whole village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Salts Mill is about two minutes' walk away. It's got cafes, shops, and a big David Hockney gallery inside. You don't really need the car if you're staying local. There are a few pubs, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep.

For a walk, you can go along the canal or the River Aire. Roberts Park is just across the river. The train station is a five-minute walk. Trains go to Leeds in about 20 minutes, or out to Ilkley and Skipton.

If you drive, you can be up on Ilkley Moor in under 20 minutes. Haworth, for the Brontë Parsonage, is about a 20-minute drive. The Yorkshire Dales are maybe 40 minutes away, depending on traffic.
