Casa Bowwow Draethen

Casa Bowwow is in Draethen, near Caerphilly. It's on a private estate, so it's quiet. You're up a bit, in the trees. It's a wooden lodge, not a cottage. Sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, newer than a lot of places. Everything is open plan downstairs. The stairs up to the bedrooms are a proper staircase, not a ladder, which is good. The main bed is very big, a US king size.

You've got your own deck with a BBQ and a table. It looks out over the garden and trees. There's a tennis court on the estate you can use. Parking is right next to the lodge.

For walks, you can go straight out onto Rudry Common and Caerphilly Mountain. The views from up there are good. Caerphilly town is about a ten minute drive. The castle is huge. It's worth a visit. The town has supermarkets, a few pubs, and the usual shops.

Cardiff is maybe 25 minutes in the car, depending on traffic. You can get to the coast around Penarth in about half an hour.

The property takes two dogs. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
