Single Malt Cottage is in Geary, on the Waternish peninsula of Skye. It's a detached cottage for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing is the view, which is straight out over the sea. You can see it from inside through the patio doors, and there are two decks outside to sit on. It's a good spot for watching the weather come in.
The bedroom has a super king bed that can be split into twins if you need it. The bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower. The living area is open plan with underfloor heating. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. We leave basic things like soap and washing tablets.
You're right out on the coast. There are walks from the door where you might see seals or eagles. Stein harbour is nearby for boat trips. A bit further along the coast at Loch Bay is the Skye Skyns tannery and shop.
Dunvegan Castle, with the Seat of Clan MacLeod, is about a 20 minute drive. The Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr are both within a 30 minute drive. For a good beach, Coral Beach near Dunvegan is about 25 minutes away.
It's a quiet, rural spot. The cottage is all on one level with its own parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
