The Old Dairy - Meadowbrook Farm Moreton

The Old Dairy is one of three places here on the farm. It's a single storey cottage, so no stairs to worry about. Sleeps four in two bedrooms: one double, one with twin beds. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. You've got your own enclosed garden out the back. The main room is open plan. There are some original beams.

The farm is about 500 acres. You're welcome to walk around the fields. There's a herd of Hereford cattle and some horses. You'll see them from the windows. There are a couple of ponds with ducks and things.

Moreton is a hamlet. Thame is the nearest proper town, about three miles away. It's got a weekly market, shops, and places to eat. The Phoenix Trail, an old railway line, is good for a flat walk or cycle.

Within about half an hour's drive you've got a few options. Waddesdon Manor is National Trust, very grand. You can book ahead for that. Blenheim Palace is towards Oxford. Oxford itself is about a 40 minute drive. You can see the colleges, go punting. The Chiltern Hills are good for longer walks.

Facilities included: all bedding and towels, parking right outside, an enclosed garden, and the washing machine is in a shared utility room next door. You can bring up to two dogs.
