Byre Cottage - Meadowbrook Farm

This is Byre Cottage. It's on Meadowbrook Farm, near Moreton in Oxfordshire. The farm's about 500 acres, so it's quiet. The family who own it farm Hereford cattle and horses, so you'll see them in the fields. You're welcome to walk around the farm tracks.

The cottage sleeps two. One bedroom with a king-size bed. There's one bathroom, it has a bath and a separate shower. The living space is open-plan. It's got original beams. The garden is enclosed, so it's private.

It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well kitted out. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.

Moreton is a hamlet. For a proper shop or a pub, you'd go to Thame. It's a few minutes drive. It's a market town with the usual stuff. The farm is good for walking, but if you want a bike ride, the Phoenix Trail is nearby. The Oxfordshire Golf Club is close if that's your thing.

Within about half an hour you can get to a few places. Waddesdon Manor is National Trust and worth a visit. Oxford is about 25 minutes if you hit the traffic right. You can see the colleges, go punting, all of that. The Chilterns are right there for longer walks. Bicester Village is nearby if you want to go shopping.

In terms of what's here, it's all as listed. Washing machine, enclosed garden, parking. The kitchen has what you need. It's a converted farm building, so the walls are thick but the ceilings are a bit lower in places. Just something to note if you're very tall.
