The Woodshed Appletree

The Woodshed is in Appletree, a small hamlet near Brackley. It's a converted groom's cottage from the 18th century. You get the garden to yourselves. It looks out over a valley.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a high standard. Everything is open plan downstairs. Both bedrooms are ensuite. The second bedroom is up a short flight of stairs and has twin beds that can be joined into a super king size if you ask beforehand.

It's very quiet here. You're in the countryside, so you’ll see more sheep than people. The garden is private. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger.

If you want to go out, Silverstone is about fifteen minutes away by car. They host the Grand Prix and other events. For shopping, Bicester Village is within half an hour. Banbury has a museum and the usual town facilities.

A bit further out, within a 30 minute drive, you've got Sulgrave Manor, Canons Ashby, and Castle Ashby if you like historic houses. Althorp is nearby too. Stratford-upon-Avon and the edge of the Cotswolds are also about half an hour away. Oxford is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes.

Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ in the garden. No pets sorry.
