Finch Cottage is in Farnborough, which is a village just inside Warwickshire on the edge of the Cotswolds. It's detached and quiet. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up recently. It's more on the comfortable and well-equipped side.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. The bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower. Downstairs is all open plan, with the kitchen, dining and sitting area together. There's a wood burner in there. The big doors open right out onto the patio, which is nice when it's sunny.
The village is nice for a walk around. It's a conservation area. There's a National Trust place here, Farnborough Hall. It's only open a couple of days a week in the summer, but the grounds are pleasant. If you're here on a Saturday, there's a butcher's van that comes to the village.
Burton Dassett Hills country park is about ten minutes away by car. Good for a walk, decent views. The nearest proper shops and a pub are about three miles away, in Banbury or the villages along there.
You're well placed for day trips. Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, and the Cotswold towns like Stow-on-the-Wold are all within about half an hour's drive. Bicester Village is about the same if you want shopping.
For facilities: it has parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and an electric car charger. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
