The Hovel is in Fenny Compton, Warwickshire. It's for two people. It’s a converted sheep shelter, so it's a single storey barn. You get the views over towards the Burton Dassett hills. There are sheep in the fields next to it.
Inside, it's open plan. The main room has a kitchen, dining area and sofa. The ceiling is high with beams. There's a big window along one side. The bed is in a separate room off the main space. The bathroom has a shower.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished. There's underfloor heating. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's an electric car charger on site. Wi-Fi works fine.
Outside, there's a small patio with a table. You look out over the fields. It’s quiet, and you're on a working farm, so you’ll see tractors and sheep.
Fenny Compton village is a short walk. There are two pubs and a village shop. The Oxford Canal runs nearby. You can walk along the towpath and watch the narrowboats.
Burton Dassett Hills Country Park is about five minutes by car. It's good for a walk or a picnic. It gets busy on sunny weekends.
You're near the edge of the Cotswolds. Banbury is about fifteen minutes away for supermarkets. Royal Leamington Spa is about twenty five minutes.
If you want to go further, within half an hour you can get to Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, or the Cotswolds towns like Stow-on-the-Wold. The National Trust's Farnborough Hall is a few miles away, but it only opens certain days.
