The Hovel is near Fenny Compton, in Warwickshire. It's just for two people. It's a converted barn, from when the land was a sheep farm. You can still see the sheep in the fields around it.
It's open plan inside. High ceilings, beams. Big window down one side. There's a kitchen area, room to sit. The bed is up a staircase. It's a good, comfortable space. It has a 5 Star rating, so everything's new and works well. There's an electric car charger.
Outside, there's a patio with a table. The view looks out over the fields towards the Burton Dassett Hills. It's quiet.
You can walk into Fenny Compton village. There are two pubs and a village shop. The Oxford Canal runs close by, good for a flat walk along the towpath to watch the boats.
The Burton Dassett Hills country park is a few minutes' drive. It's basically a big area of open hills, good for a walk or a picnic. You can see for miles.
If you want to go further, Banbury is about 15 minutes by car. Leamington Spa is maybe 25 minutes. Farnborough Hall, a National Trust place, is just over two miles away but only opens some days. National Trust Farnborough Hall.
You're also close to the edge of the Cotswolds. Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, and Blenheim Palace are all within about half an hour's drive.
