Bumblebee Cabin is in Milldens, Angus. It's a small cabin in a wooded bit of land next to farm fields. There's another one, Barn Owl Cabin, nearby. They're separated by a privacy fence.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. It's well insulated and heated.
The cabin is 6 metres by 3 metres. Inside there's a kitchenette, a table with stools, and a couple of armchairs. It's compact but it's laid out well so it doesn't feel cramped.
Outside there's a veranda with a picnic table and a chiminea. The garden area is enclosed. You park up by the road and walk down a short gravel path to the cabin. It's lit for the evening.
You're right next to Balgavies Loch and Montreathmont Forest. Good for walks and birdwatching. It's quiet.
Forfar, Brechin and Montrose are about a 15 minute drive. There are village pubs closer than that. The coast with sandy beaches is about 20 minutes away, around Montrose and Arbroath.
If you want to go further, Dundee, Perth, St Andrews and Aberdeen are all within an hour's drive. There's golf nearby.
Facilities: WiFi, parking, bike storage, bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine back up at the main house you can use. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
