Millstream
Millstream is in Roadhead, Cumbria. It's right near the border with Scotland, between Newcastleton and Longtown.
It's a big place for groups, sleeps sixteen. But it's made up of two separate apartments. So you can all be together but you've also got your own front doors and space. Good if a few families are sharing and want a bit of privacy. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms between the two apartments.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The facilities are what you need. There's a games room, a hot tub, and a garden with a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
The owners run a small bar and restaurant on site. They do meals and you can get a drink.
For things to do, you're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Kielder Forest and its reservoir are very close for walking, cycling, or fishing. It's one of the best places in the country for stargazing because it's so dark. Hadrian's Wall is about a thirty minute drive away. Carlisle isn't far either if you need a city for shops or the castle.
