The Old Nursery

The Old Nursery is in Pentre'r felin, which is a small village in the Brecon Beacons. It's on our working farm, but it's detached and you have your own garden.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom upstairs. There's a shower, no bath. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.

It was an old nursery building. We did it up properly in 2022, so everything is new and works as it should. It's warm and dry. You get good views of Pen y Fan from the front bedroom window.

The garden is enclosed. It has a table and chairs. Good for a morning coffee if it's sunny.

You can walk straight out onto the hills from the gate. The local pub is about a ten minute walk and they do food. Sennybridge village is a couple of miles away for shops.

Brecon is about nine miles. That's where you'll find the supermarkets, more pubs, and the normal town things. The base for walking up Pen y Fan is about the same distance, a nine mile drive.

Because it's in the National Park, the night skies are very dark here. You can see a lot of stars if it's clear.

For a day out, the Dan yr Ogof show caves are about a half hour drive. Cardiff and Swansea are both around 45 minutes by car if you want a city or a beach.

It has the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
